Gökkuşağı Koleji, İSTANBUL (Ataşehir, Bahçelievler, Bahçeşehir, Beylikdüzü), ANKARA (Alacaatli), İZMİR(Çiğli), ANTALYA (Muratpaşa) ve BURSA (Özlüce) kampüslerinde 2024-2025 akademik yılında göreve başlayıp ekibine güç katacak, (tercihen iletişim düzeyinde İngilizce konuşabilen), iletişim gücü yüksek, sabırlı ve disiplinli, öğrencilerine çocuk oldukları için sevgi, yarın büyüyeceği için saygı duyan KİMYA ÖĞRETMENLERİ arıyor.

Adaylar, lise Kimya dersi ulusal veya uluslararası müfredatlar için değerlendirilebilir.  Ulusal müfredatlar, IB Diploma Programı, Cambridge IGCSE ve AS/A Level Kimya müfredatları kapsamında derslerini yürüteceklerdir. Adayların ilgili alanlardan mezun olması, uluslararası müfredatlar için dersi İngilizce anlatabilecek düzeyde akıcı yabancı dil becerisine sahip olması gerekir.

We are seeking suitably qualified individuals to join us as full time CHEMISTRY TEACHERS who can teach in English, at ISTANBUL (Bahcelievler, Bahcesehir, Beylikduzu, Atasehir), IZMIR (Cigli), BURSA (Ozluce),ANTALYA (Muratpasa) and ANKARA (Alacaatli) campuses for the academic year 2024-2025. 

The expected time to join the team is late August 2024 or early September 2024.

Virtual interviews offered to eligible qualified candidates who reside outside the city or country for the position. (The interviews-agreements should be completed by mid-July with the overseas applicants as the official workpermit processes takes about 2 months).

Beside the national curriculum, depending on the campus accreditations, we offer international programmes such us IB DP and Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AS/A Level. Medium of instruction in these programmes is English so fluency in English is a must. Ongoing professional development trainings are provided by the school.

Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in education or relevant licence/certificate and has excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices and are principled and treat their students with tenderness and compassion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Preparing yearly and weekly plans depending on the curriculum and the coursebook
• Planning and presenting lessons to facilitate students’ understanding and application of chemistry concepts; making students ready for the practical works
• Learning and understanding the requirements and assessment details of the syllabuses 
• Preparing and distributing learning materials such as notes, assignments, and quizzes
• Grading assigments and quizzes in a timely manner
• Invigilating quizzes and inschool exams
• Documenting and reporting on students’ progress
• Attending meetings with parents and staff; Providing high-quality, accurate, constructive and targeted information to parents at Parents' Evenings, subject reports, incidental meetings and communications 
• Contributing to the effective and efficient running of the school 
• Generating enthusiasm for the subject being taught and inspiring all students to work to their potential 
•  Setting homework according to policy
• Being punctual to lessons 
• Promoting high standards of behaviour by encouraging a positive, proactive approach to study and build productive relationships with students 
• Undertaking other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Department,  members of the Senior Leadership Team and any duties that the Head Master deems necessary
• Write academic references and letters of recommendation for Grade 11 & 12 students as part of their university application process 
• Willing to run, or assist with, subject-related extracurricular activities such as science fairs, experiments, and clubs related to the subject
