Job Description

We are looking for Software Engineers to work in our R&D Extender Line, designing, building and maintaining software to be used in homes worldwide. The role has great opportunities for the candidate to develop himself in a wide technology area in back-end. The role requires hands on experience with build, integration and debugging of embedded linux and open source repositories as well as eagerness to work hand-by-hand with tier-1 customers to gather requirements and help resolve issues found in the lab and live networks. It is an exciting opportunity to work on multiple topics around Linux and have a direct impact on deployment of AirTies wireless products to millions of users throughout the world. 

Required 

• BSc in Computer Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in C programming language
• Good understanding of embedded Linux system internals, cross-compilation environments, device driver development, and performance tuning
• Being able to modularize the software and make it clean to maintain in a clear way
• No hesitation about using Linux ecosystem (both command line and GUI) as working environment
• Enthusiastic to learn Networking technologies
• Enthusiastic to apply root-cause analysis for bugs
• Understanding of code branching/merging strategies and build release management
• Well communication skills
• Ability to work under time constraints with verbal & written instructions of varying levels of detail and changing requirements
• Highly desired and has the ability to lead as well as work individually

• 4+ years of experience
• Fluent in English
• Solid understanding of Linux networking internals
• Acquaintance with open source tools, philosophy, and community

• Analysis and translation of customer internet service provider requirements into software requirement specifications for AirTies wireless products
• Implementing requirements to be executed on Airties products
• Tailoring core software assets and integrating them into product firmwares
