QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Anadolu Agency is seeking English copy editors (Ankara)
Currently posting news in 13 different languages, Anadolu Agency is considered among the most active news agencies in the world. With its 99 years of experience and a strong network of correspondents in 86 countries, Anadolu Agency delivers over 1,600 news per day; an average of 2,000 images, 300 videos, and 6 info-graphics to its subscribers worldwide.
Job Description
- Copy Editing news stories and new media products written by Turkish and foreign journalists
- Assisting in editing and providing professional training to Turkish and foreign journalists and copy editors
- Ability to work on different time-scheduled shifts (day, afternoon and evening shifts)
Required Qualifications
- Native English speakers with excellent writing skills,
- BA degrees or above, journalism experience preferred,
- Good team player
Salary is dependent on experience but competitive.
Preferred Candidate
More than 3 years of experience
Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Graduate), Doctorate(Student), Doctorate(Graduate)
