Information Factory Data Warehouse Engineer

• University degree in Computer engineering or computer science related engineering with comparable training and comprehensive experiences gained in practice as IT specialist
• Experience in operating and supporting a DWH
• Very good knowledge in SQL, data modeling, and ETL
• Familiar to agile working environments and processes
• Knowledge about Hadoop Hive, Talend, Jira and confluence would be an asset
• Analytical, solution-driven personality that likes to bring forward own ideas
• Advanced English is required, German in addition is an asset.

İŞ TANIMI

• Development of extract-transform-load (ETL) templates
• Analyzing data from the Enterprise Data Warehouse (DWH) for the customer
• Supporting other business units, e.g., by preparing ad-hoc reports
• Conceptual design and implementation of star schemes and 3NF models from the DWH
• Understand functional requirements and convert them into technical specifications
• Build and unit test production deployment packages in a deployment environment
• Follow the agile team process of software development with Scrum
• Operation and support DWH solutions and applications
• Scheduling and monitoring execution plans
• Supervision and administration of the used software tools
• Incident / problem management and processing of service requests
• Improving and ensuring data quality in the DWH
• Workload management and performance optimization, e.g., of database queries
