 WHAT TO EXPECT 

As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward thinking, open-minded and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Working full-time from ourIzmir Gaziemir Plant, you will be Project Buyer and it is a great opportunity for provide procurement support to the project teams for new business acquisitions/pursuits and new development projects.

• You'll be responsible for cost and lead time estimations in early project phase in cooperation with Commodity Managers.
• You'll communicate specific supplier related needs/gaps found in projects to Commodity Teams.
• You'll support with moderation of design reviews with external suppliers and Product Engineering.

 Key responsibilities:

• Following project timing plan & milestones and drive suppliers for compliance (mainly supplier selection, prototype/off-tool/PPAP sample availability, PPAP approval, run-rate and SOP dates set by project team).
• Clarifying of technical requirements with project team and suppliers.
• Ensuring potentials for carry-over solutions are considered & material specifications optimized through value analysis & engineering.
• Analyzing and negotiate offers to assure best cost for the project and use the total cost of Ownership (TCO) concept as a foundation for decision making and applies best practice sourcing methodology.
• Securing capacity, pricing and leverage additional volumes for existing parts.
• Organization and implementation of sourcing committees for supplier selection for all new purchased parts.

 ABOUT YOU 

• Bachelor's Degree from Engineering departments. 
• Must have work experience min. 7 years.
• Must have experience in a purchasing automotive supplier environment.
• Experienced at Legal aspects and contracts of purchasing.
• To have the ability to work independently and organize the workload.
• Leadership skills and result orientation
• Time management skills
• MS Office skills, 
• Fluency in English, both oral and written.
