Senior Big Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Big Data Engineer for our Big Data, Machine Learning and Algorithms team.

Desired Skill and Experience:

Big Data development experience on Hadoop platform including Hbase, Apache Flink, Spark, Kafka

Must have extensive knowledge on Big Data architecture (Hadoop, NoSQL and distributed computing)

Strong skills and knowledge on developing high quality code in Java, Python or Scala

Strong SQL skills, including query optimization are required. Experience in working with large, complex datasets is required.

Experience in data modeling, complex data structures, data processing, data quality and data lifecycle.

Data streaming, real time data processing and interfacing with big data or RDMS (Hadoop, Cassandra, Oracle)

Have a through understanding of the implications of software design and implementation choices on performance and maintainability.

Experience in large scale server-side application development that includes the design and implementation of high volume data processing jobs.

Self motivated; independent, organized and proactive; highly responsive, flexible and adaptable when working across multiple teams.

Very good command of written and spoken English (French will be a big plus since our second team is in Paris).

No restrictions for travel abroad.

Male candidates should complete their military services.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development

Education:

Bachelor's degree from a reputable university in Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, Information Technology or equivalent (STEM), a related field of study, a Master degree is a plus.
