We are now taking applications for Insurance Auditor and Actuary Manager in Audit and assurance services.

Our Insurance Audit and Actuarial Audit in Turkey:

• Compliance with financial reporting standards and IFRS 17
• Reserve calculation and audit services
• Comprehensive audits for actuarial processes and outcomes
• Support services for mergers, acquisitions and sales processes
• Support services for IAS 19 actuarial calculations (ex: employee benefits, termination benetifs etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university,
• Excellent command of English,
• Strong written and verbal communication skills,
• Strong team working skills,
• Understanding of insurance and associated terminology.,
• Good command of MS Office applications,
• Demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement in the delivery of quality services to clients, providing value add solutions to client’s problems,
• Strong analytical and process analysis skills,
• Strong presentation skills,
• Strong client management skills

Job Description

• Take an active role in local and global actuarial audit and assurance projects in accordance with applicable accounting and reporting framework (ex: IFRS 17 etc.)
• Non-life or life technical provisions, cash flow modelling and reporting audit,
• Lead engagements and report to audit team for the Audit of employee benefits actuarial calculation in accordance with IAS 19.
• Identifies and appropriately documents engagement issues and their conclusions and consults with appropriate firm members as necessary,
• Prioritizes multiple tasks appropriately by using effective time management skills,
• Is given accountability for specific defined work assignments/engagements, completing all tasks that meet the team’s and client’s expectations,
• Understands the KPMG engagement methodology and is able to contribute to the engagement project management with the completion of working papers and other such engagement management functions,
• Keeps senior management informed of significant developments and progress on the engagement,
• Demonstrates commitment to obtaining technical capabilities relevant to the service line
