YOUR ROLE 

• Oversee efficient working of import value chain and coordinate all communication among all stakeholders 
• Plan and implement all import strategies according to supply chain needs and oversee import process to ensure compliance to all government regulations 
• Design, evaluate and renew all contracts as per requirement and monitor and prepare reports for all import activities and recommend changes if required 
• Administer and implement all custom and border protection for various security programs and maintain compliance with Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate needs 
• Collaborate with all stakeholders and perform audit on processes and maintain expert knowledge on all custom regulations 
• Coordinate and communicate with Customs Broker regarding requested imports to make sure they have arrived, early payments are not being made, request as a whole are compliant 
• Works closely with Treasury manager to manage import requests based on cash availability 
• Responsible for organizing quarterly audits with all stakeholders, for organizing quarterly meetings among all import value chain stakeholders, for monthly internal controls and reporting them 

• University degree from Business Administration, Economics or a related field with a successful academic record 
• Up to 2 years of import experience with Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) project management knowledge 
• Full understanding of import rules and regulations and how they apply to the current value chain 
• Strong knowledge of import regulations, AEO requirements and necessary GAP analysis amongst stakeholders 
• Experience in payment types, EFT and SWIFT, international transaction such as upfront payment, C.O.D., letters of credit 
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP 
• Strong negotiation skills with customs broker, authorities and supply chain stakeholders 
• Clear understanding of the import process and local business unit expectation and being able to align them accordingly
