Researcher With Phd Degree in Iot/Cloud Computing

Vestel is searching for a Researcher to be employed in Vestel Elektronik San. ve Tic. AŞ. Manisa OSB Central Plant.

• PhD degree in Computer Science/Engineering,  Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent/related field,
• At least 5 years of experience in either technical, professional or academic,
• Knowledge and proficiency inof modern software architectures and programming languages
• Experience in Web application and development
• Experience in big data technologies are preferred (Hadoop, Java Map/Reduce, Hive, Spark SQL)
• Excellent command of written and verbal English,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Ability to operate successfully in a matrix organization,
• Have outstanding organizational, interpersonal and communication skills,
• No travel restriction.

İŞ TANIMI

• Serve as a researcher in the areas of IoT, Cloud Computing, BigData, AI, and related technologies,
• Implement all research duty inside scope of related discipline,
• Develop proof of concept innovative solutions,
• Continuously investigate state-of-the art, such as; products, market, exhibitions, all academic publishes and patents in material science and engineering disciplines, and preparing reports to inform colleagues,
• Managing and initializing projects which requires high level computer vision, video processing and machine learning knowledge, and strengths Vestel competitive position globally with those projects,
• Mentoring R&D and manufacturing, development departments,
• Able to offer courses in corporate university program,
• Generate high quality proposals, publications and/or patents at national and international levels,
• Coordinates project proposal preparation for research funds (TUBITAK and various EU funds),
• Liaison between startup investments of Vestel and Vestel R&D inside scope of related discipline,
• Contact point between Universities and managing University Collaboration’s,
• Continuously investigate new investment opportunities on technology startups.
