QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Operating in 6 regions and 12 countries in the field of cement, concrete and aggregate, we are looking for colleagues who will contribute to the environment and social life without compromising on quality and ethical values and build life together in the Turkish organization of Vicat, a French company with a history of two hundred years, which has made innovation and progress a priority.

We are looking for a teammate to be assigned as Production Engineer reporting to the Production Manager in our Konya Çimento factory located in Konya, one of the leading companies of Vicat Group Türkiye.

General Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering,
  • Up to 2 years experience in the production of finished / semi-finished products/process processes in the cement sector,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Good command of Microsoft Office programs,
  • High degree of goal and result orientation, 
  • Communication skills, teamwork, flexibility, and assertiveness, 
  • Having a Class B license and  being able to drive actively, 
  • No military obligations for male candidates,
  • Residing or able to reside in Konya.

Job Description :

  • Obtains information about malfunctions by checking the shift book.
  • Visits the cement mills and examines the production records, takes the necessary precautions to prevent disruption of production and checks the mechanical parts of the mills.
  • Examines the analysis reports of the materials that have left the Quality Control and the mill.
  • Prepares and implements the production programs of the mills according to the data received from the Sales department.
  • Ensures the follow-up and regular operation of the packaging units.
  • Makes downtime and revision plans for the mills.
  • Ensures that the needs of the affiliated units are determined and orders are made
  • Ensures that all connected equipment and personnel work in occupational safety.
